For admission at the Hochschule Stralsund - University of Applied Sciences you have to submit the following documents to uni-assist:
- curriculum vitae
- certified photocopy of the Secondary School Certificate with subjects and grades/marks
- letter of motivation (for the master degree course Renewable Energy and E-Mobility with an average mark of the bachelor's degree of 1.9 to 2.3 and for the master's courses Elektrotechnik and Medizintechnische Systeme from 2,7)
- if applicable, certified photocopy of the university entrance test in the home country (only for applicants from countries such as Iran, Turkey and Korea)
- if applicable, certified photocopy of a university transcript of records or the degree with subjects and grades/marks (if the applicant has studied already at another institution - regardless the amount of semesters)
- relevant module descriptions from the Bachelor's degree as proof of course-specific requirements (e.g. for Health economics, International Innovation Management, Renewable Energy and E-Mobility and Simulation and System Design). Please do not submit the whole module catalogue!
- certified photocopy of a certificate that proves German or English language skills
- copy of the passport (only the page stating the name, date of birth and the picture)
Attention! It is no longer necessary to send documents to uni-assist by post. Officially certified copies must be submitted in case of admission for personal enrolment.
All required certificates of study and enrollment have to be submitted in their original language AND in English or German translation (by a licensed translator).
In addition, all certificates and their translations need to be officially confirmed.
The Hochschule Stralsund recognizes official certifications issued by the following authorities:
- German embassies (all types of certificates)
- German consulates (all types of certificates)
- Goethe institutes (all types of certificates)
- University from which the applicant graduated (only for certificates issued by this university)
- School where the applicant received university entrance qualification (only for certificates issued by this school)
- Certifications of authorized public authorities and notaries in the respective country
Official confirmations have to contain the following elements:
- Clause stating that the copy corresponds to the original
- Signature of the person confirming the certificate
- Seal of the confirming authority (Please note: A seal usually contains an emblem. Simple stamps without emblems are not sufficient)
In Germany all notaries and all official authorities/institutions that have a seal can certify the photocopies of originals.
